Who/what agency confirms your address when you apply for a credit card?
I applied for a credit card and was denied because they could not confirm my address. I’m not a fraud and was telling the truth. I think it was because I had recently moved. Is there a way I can contact this company/agency to confirm they have my correct address? I want to apply for another credit card but I don’t want worth risking getting denied again if my information is wrong.

Make sure the post office has your change of address. Most companies, including credit card companies and public information database companies, use the most recent information the post office has for you.
The credit bureaus don’t confirm your address, they simply report the addresses you’ve used to apply for credit.
If you’ve been applying at 123 Anystreet for years and then you move to 987 Main Street, the credit card company sees that you’ve been living at one address, but now you’re applying for credit somewhere else.
Most credit companies have policies built in for their customer’s that have recently moved, but this does raise their risk.
My finance company often asks for proof of residence in this situation (utility bill - phone, cable, electric). If you can’t prove residence the risk for the company goes up. Sometimes it goes up too high and you get declined.
You should receive an adverse action letter indicating why you were declined. If it was for short time at residence, contact the company. Maybe they’ll give you options about proving residence.
