When you apply for a credit card online, and get approved, do they call you?
Iam thinking about applying for a credit card online, and I wanted to know once I get approve, will they call me and verify my information like background information, idenity, etc… or will they just send me my card in the mail?
Just send you the card in the mail, that simple!
Nope, you’ll just get the card mailed to you.
They will just send your new account information in the mail. You can sometimes get the status of the application when you finish the online application and some even tell you your limit. The only time they would call is if they need more information, or something does not match up.
They will do a credit inquiry on you thru the credit bureaus. If you are approved, they will just send you the card.
Be smart and only charge what you can afford to pay in full each month. Stay out of debt.
They will mail you the card (read the fine print regarding when your interest rate will adjust or what if any annual fees you will have) - and you will also have to call in using your home telephone to activate the card once you get it - keep it under half the high limit to keep your credit score up, make payments on time and you should be fine
Have fun but be careful with the new freedom
