what is a good, low interest, credit card to start establishing my credit with?
I have absolutely no credit whatsoever and I’m being denied by every card I apply for! I have a good, steady job but I am not in college at the moment. I’m getting married and I would like to build my credit for the future. Does anyone have a card they can suggest, preferably a visa (but not necessary) with low interest, that will probably accept me?
thanks everyone!!!!

Since you have no established credit, you are not likely to get a low interest credit card. You may have to get a secured card — you pay $X deposit and it’s held as collateral against your line of credit. Use the card and pay it in full every month. After about 6 months to a year, you will be able to get a regular credit card. Use it and pay it in full every month.
The longer your good payment history, the better your credit and the more likely you will be able to get better interest rates and higher limits.
If you have no real credit, you don’t get to luxury to shop around. If you have a bank account, I would go to them and ask about a credit card or even a prepaid VISA. Every time someone checks your credit, it hurts your score, so shopping around will really hurt you.
Once you get a card and make your payments on time, in a year or so you will begin to get credit card offers in the mail. Then you can begin to look around at what else is out there
