credit card application

I’m a full-time student and I don’t work. Do I include my father’s income since we live in the same household?

  1. sorry, but getting a credit card will only get you into slavery where you need to pay the interest rate which grows every month. my advice, don’t get a credit card it’s bad for you… but i guess you’re not listening anyway.

I don’t consider other people’s income in household income unless I were married to them.

  3. You put down the annual income of the household put together. His is included because they are asking for the household put together.

I was still declined for a credit card anyway after I put down the annual income which was 100,000 for the household.

good luck on getting a credit card and be careful using it. If you don’t pay on time they will add additional charges. A credit card is good to build credit.

  4. Better off without a bad credit history — that is what happens. If you insist — put down what it says on your 1040 when you filed income tax. No income — no credit card… Let Dad give you one of his credit cards to use…

  5. You can only include income that you generate. The credit card companies are wanting to determine your ability to pay the bill. Also, this is your Gross income. This is the ‘before’ taxes amount. For example, if you make $12.50/hr then your annual income will be $26,000 ($12.50X40.00hrs/weekX52weeks/yr).

    Good Luck!!!
