  1. They look to see how long you have been on your job!!!

  2. How long has your bank account been open? Has it been handled without overdrafts or other problems? How long have you been employed?

It doesn’t hurt if the parent has been a good customer for several years.

My grandson recently applied for a card when he turned 18 and received it without any problem. He had been a customer since he was a little tyke and had been on his part-time job for two years.

  3. Banks will somehow find you. It there job. Just make sure you don’t go overboard and buy everything you see in sight. Only use 30% of your total limit which will be between $200-$300 limit on your first credit card. This looks good and make sure that you pay the bill off every month so you don’t have to pay interest fees. Good luck to you.

  4. they look at job history check out under student cards.
