The most complete resource for looking and apply credit card online.
What are the three easiest banks to get an unsecured credit card for someone seeking to re-establish credit?
I have had a secured card with Orchard Bank for past seven months and made all my payments early. Now I want to try an unsecured card and I don’t want to pay a bunch of ridiculous fees.
first check to see if Orchard Bank will give you an unsecured card. I have had good experiences with being approved through Providian (big fees, though), Capital One (fees vary), Walmart (high APR but no fees) and First Premier (huge fees though). If Orchard bank was reporting your good credit to the credit bureaus, your credit rating should have approved. Check your credit rating and pay to receive your FICO score. The credit reporting agency that you get your score through should have information as to what is a good score and what is not. I had a score of around 550 a few years back and was approved for all of those cards. Good Luck!!!
Your next stop needs to be Capital One and/or Household bank. What you are not looking for is high limit card, you will probablly not get it (at the moment) because of your past credit difficulties. The above mentioned banks will most likely issue you unsecured cards. Make timely payments on them and they will increase your limits automatically. Good luck!

Your Own Bank $2000?
No Deposit. No annual fee. No activation fee. No ‘participation’ fees.
Citi is ‘giving’ away $3000 lines to almost everyone.
