My friend said that Alaska Airlines Visa is the best, but I want to shop around and learn from the people who use their airline credit card miles for traveling. Aside from air miles, what are the other perks? Is the annual APR worth it?

Why do credit card companies charge such high fees when redeeming airline miles?
Ticket might be normally $400 which is free by redeeming my miles, but then they want to charge say $200 for FEES that will cost me money in addition to redeeming my miles. Any way around this?

I have an airline miles credit card. What can I buy (on credit) that I can quickly get cash for? This way I can pay off the credit with the cash and earn miles for free airline tickets.

I’m looking to transfer my balance to an Airline Miles Credit Card. Which has the best points system and low interest rate?
From what i found, you have to earn 10,000 - 25000 points to earn a roundtrip which equals to 10000-25000 dollars.
Anyone have a good one?
