Credit Card Discussion

I applied for a credit card and was denied because they could not confirm my address. I’m not a fraud and was telling the truth. I think it was because I had recently moved. Is there a way I can contact this company/agency to confirm they have my correct address? I want to apply for another credit card but I don’t want worth risking getting denied again if my information is wrong.

Hi All. I’m a recent college grad who is fairly new to the workforce and is ready to get rid of her credit card debt!! I was fortunate enought not to borrow much in student loans (a total of about $9,000), however by grad time I owed about 9 thousand in credit card debt. Now I am ready to get rid of this burden. I know that this sounds horrible, but my situation was very different than that of the average student. I am a mother and was raising my daughter the whole time during college. Instead of working full time I focused on my studies and only worked part time. Needless to say this made everything harder but in the end it was worth it. Also, I’m not looking for an overnight solution. It took me six years to accumulate this debt so I know it wont disappera overnight. I’m just looking for the best way to go about it. Please help!

Is removing my husband as authorized user on credit card bad for his credit? I’m trying to bring down his debt to income ratio because he has no debt of his own its all on my cards and of course it shows up as his debt also.

i have a capital one credit card. for every dollar i spend i recieve one mile. i curently have 15,313miles saved up. i want to fly to europe which in total is 9,000 miles. shouldnt i have enough miles to get there? although the company states that 85,000 miles need to be earned in order to get a free flight to europe. Why do they call the points i need to earn miles? it does not take 85,000 miles to get to europe yet, i need to earn that many miles? i dont get it. can anyone please explain to me how this works?!!

I’ve just started working and don’t have a credit history. Can I still apply for a credit card?

I haven’t pay my credit card for about 3 months (there’s a money matter since i left my last job) & i receive a letter from lawyer firm that asking me to attending to court on this coming June 2006. Im a bit scared now……

I want to know what the bad about credit card gift cards, like visa and master cards. The one they sell in stores. Do you have to pat money to activate and then add money?

Say you apply for a credit card, gives employment and financial info if this changes should you notify them?

Like you work at company X and make 70,000 a year. Some months later you change to Company Y and make 100,000 a year. Should you alert the CC company? Or what if you make 50,000 after switching? Should you alert them so they have accurate files?
