I’m looking to buy Tf2 and maybe other games using Steam, but my parents don’t like buying online. I would really like to find out if I can use a prepaid credit card.

  2. It is possible to do this. Your Steam account needs a credit card, but does not distinguish between prepaid and a regular card. As long as the card is a Visa or Mastercard you should be alright.

    You can also use Paypal as many people do because they do not have credit cards. Debit cards work as well.
