Is it hard to get approved for a Chase student credit card?
I checked my FICO credit score and my score was 606 Transunion.
Thanks for the link #1 but I got turned down for Discover student card and also American Express student card as well.
No…they market to students because they can charge a higher interest rate and string them along until they finish school. By the time an irresponsible user has graduated and is earning sufficient income to pay it off, they have made mad money on the finance charges. It is a way to build credit, but it comes at a price. Just be careful how you use it.
Chase is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. These ******* will attempt to rip you off in way you’ve never thought possible.
How would you like to have a billing address changed in the cycle so your payment (electronic by the way) doesn’t come on time and you get charged a whole series of fees and interest.
How would you like your information sold to every freaking telemarketer on the planet (they tell you they are associated with Chase and the no-call list doesn’t apply).
Have you considered Citi or Capital One? They both provide student credit cards as well. Although, it seems like lots of people have negative things to say about Capital One. You can find a great list of student credit cards here:
