I want to apply for a mastercard credit card, but im only 17? is it possible?

  2. No you need to be 18 or if ur lucky enough then master card will make a mistake and send you one

  3. You must be 18 to sign a legal contract and a credit card is a legal contract.

  4. Yes, you can apply for one but you probably won’t get it because most likely you have no credit. Go to First financial bank and apply for a student credit card, that is what my daughter did at your age, they will send you a credit card and make sure you make your monthly payments on time, the initial credit limit will probably be about $200, but after you make about 4-6 payments on time you will start getting offers in the mail from more reputable credit card companies, I would suggest getting rid of the first financial bank one as soon as you can, when my daughter closed her account they tried to give her a $2000 credit limit when she had a $300 limit and I had to pry her fingers from the yes button to talk her out of it but she now has a really good credit rating. Also, I think she had just turned 18 when she applied.

  5. Federal and state law on credit cards and contracts forbid a company from entering into a contact with a minor. A minor is someone under the age of 18. You are under the age of 18.

  6. You have to be 18, but you may look into pre paid cards or student cards.
