credit card review

I just recently payed off the balance on my credit card but it was closed. I asked the credit card company if they could reactivate the card. They are doing a credit review as of now. Do you think there’s a good chance they will reactivate it?

  1. depends on who they are. some almost always do others will never ever give you another chance. sears and discover forget it. jc penny yes. i wish you had more information such as why is was closed, who closed it, how long the card was open for the previous standing with the acccount such as before this it was never late. the name of the company that issued the account is good. go to and ask this question with a little more detail and you will get a better idea.

No….your credit card was not “closed” unless you call them and request it to be. I would also request this in writing and they will send you a letter stating that your card is closed. The credit card will stay “open” and ready to use again, each and everytime you pay off the balance unless you request it to be closed.
