  1. Cash advances from credit cards are an expensive way to obtain cash.
    If you absolutely have to, I believe you can go to a bank and get cash from a human teller.
    I’ve never actually done this myself though.
    It might be cheaper for you to buy $100 worth of goods for your friend, and charge that to your card.
