How do you use Credit card miles to fly on a airline? Where to find out more?

If you find out what type of credit card (Capital One, AmEx, etc) you can go to their website and find out their policies for how many miles a ticket takes, etc. Typically, I call my cc company and they will also tell you over the phone (and sometimes book for you).
