  1. You have credit card debt, and you wan to pay it off as quickly as you can. We will assume that you are going to stop creating more debt. You have changed your ways. You also understand that paying credit card

  2. You have to really work out your budget and cut down on some of the expenses. You may consider to do extra or part time job so that you can earn extra and pay off the debts as much as you can. Another way is to learn and find out how to boost your income. Whenever you are ready, get into it and work your way out of your debts asap.

  3. It took time to incur all that debt…..it’s going to take time to get out of it.

    There is no easy answer.
And unless you win the lottery….no lump sum either.

I highly recommend you read Dave Ramsey’s books. He outlines a program to get your debts paid off. He calls them the Baby Steps.

He also has a radio program and web site.

His strategy for paying off debt is not fun. It takes hard work and sacrifice. But you incurred the debt. You signed your name that you would be responsible for that debt. You have to honor your obligations and pay it off. But it helps to have a strategy for how you are going to do it.

  4. so, what can enyone elsedo about it. what exactly are u asking. if have not paid the emis, u have to pay now and go on paying more and more interest. your question is how can u settle ur loan/debt, the answer is very simple, pay it off. thats the end of it.

  5. If you plan on paying the debt you have a few choices. If they are with the original creditors you can call them and see if they will settle the debt for a lesser price. They might be reluctant to do this but it is worth a try. Or you can go to a debt settlement co. that will work with you to settle you debt. They are usually more successful since they have ties to these companies. Now if they are in collections you have a much better chance to settle. Since these companies often pay pennies on the dollar you can offer them 50% of the amount owed. You want to try to get them also to delete these items off your credit report. So you will want to do a pay for delete. You can find more info at creditboards.com on how to go about this. It is a free forum with sample PFD letters you can use.

  6. You can easily settle the credit card and personal loan debts. If you cannot pay the entire due with penal interest and recovery charges etc, you can go in for a single shot full and final settlement. It is better, you utilise the services of an experienced advocate. In case, if the credit card company and pl organisation does not accept, you may approach the jurisdictional court and initiate IP proceedings. The court upon enquiry and findings, will disburse the proceedings, after the deduction of court fee, to the credit card and pl organisations, without any hitch to you.

  7. Try using:

I used their service a couple months back and they consolidated all my debt and lowered my total debt about 25%.

  8. Debt consolidation is probably the best thing that any person that finds themselves in debt can do.

Debt consolidation comes in many forms:
    - Debt Consolidation Loan
    - Debt Settlement Program
    - Debt Management Plan
    - Debt Relief, Reduction and Elimination Program
    - Credit Counseling Service

I think you should contact a debt consolidation company they can suggest you the best program out of the above mention to clear your debts ASAP. Here is the source of a debt consolidation company for your reference :

  9. You can:

    1. Do nothing (Bad Option)
    2. Try and negotiate yourself
    3. Hire a lawyer
    4. Enroll in a debt settlement program

I think the best course of action is in reverse order 4,3,2,1.
