I am 16 and looking at getting a MuchMusic pre paid credit card so i can buy music online legally. there is a 40$ activation fee and then there is a 1.50$ charge to load it up again. You can use it as many time as you want no charge. http://www.muchmusic.com/muchmusiccard/comparison.asp

by pre-paid im assuming they dont send me some sort of bill at the end of the month, its just like a debit card that can be used online like a credit card.

  1. Yes its a Debit card pretty much thats pretty much how it works But yah you don’t get a bill for it

  2. I’m curious. If you have the cash, why not use it and save your $41.50? You need to read the entire contract. There is fine print in there that is important.

How about I offer you a deal? Send me your money. When you need it, I’ll send it back to you. I’m going to charge you an “activation fee” of $39.95 in the first year, then a $9.95 annual fee after that so you will feel like your a “member.” I will also send you more money than you actually have in your account if you ask for it. Of course, there will be a fee for that as well. I’m going to charge you $1.50 each time you send me money and I’ll charge you $2 each month that you don’t use your own money (that way you will keep spending and sending me your money). During that time, I’m going to invest your money at 12% and get rich. At the end, I’ll send you your initial investment back, while keeping the fees and interest.

Now for a better idea: Proverbs 22:7 says that “the rich shall rule over the poor and the borrower is a slave to the lender.” Keep your money, live debt-free, invest your money and get rich. Trust me, it works.

    Good luck
