I’m looking for a credit card I can use to purchase gas, groceries, etc. and pay it off AS SOON AS it comes due so there are no late fees and NO annual fees, etc. This is to help build credit for me and my husband. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

  1. You can do that with ANY credit card. I would suggest the EmigrantDirect Visa. Emigrant Direct has an online savings account and with the Visa you earn cash back that is deposited into the account. It’s not much, but it’s free money.

If you don’t care about the savings account, go to creditcards.com and look for a card that gives rewards on those things- gas and groceries. That way you can get free stuff and discounts.

  2. this will help, good luck x

  3. We have both a Bank of America card (Mastercard) and a Borders Visa card. We pay both off each month in full, have never paid interest, and we get gift cards every 3 months or so after we obtain a certain number of dollar points ($50 card for 6,000 points).

  4. I got an amazon.com card (it is through Chase bank, but I signed up for it on amazon’s website). Just for signing up, you got $30 off your amazon purchase, then for every dollar you spend you get a point, and after 2500 points you get a $25 amazon gift card. So, I like that one because there are no fees and you get rewards. Reward cards usually have higher rates, but that won’t matter since you are going to be paying it off each month.

  5. National City Bank has a card that allows you to build your credit by paying on time each month. Give them a call if you have one in your local area.

  6. Get a card with a grace period. A grace period allows you to pay off your balance without having to pay the interest. The average grace period is 20-25 days.

  7. My wife and I just got a gas card from

We charge all of our gas and groceries and then payoff the card when it’s due. We receive $25.00 about every 30 days as a cash reward.

This site made it very easy to compare cards and apply online with an secure online application.

Checkout this website to compare gas credit cards with no annual fees. It’s super simple. Just look at the different cards and when you find one that fits your needs just click on the “Apply Now” button. Then, fill out the application and you should be on your way to improving your credit!

P.S. I would recommend the Chase PerfectCard from Mastercard. It’s the second one on the page.
