However, there is a scam for a Gold credit card that is not a Visa or Mastercard. You pay all sorts of fees to get an account for a very overpriced catalog. Makes sure you’re applying for a real credit card.
No, go for a starting credit card or a secure credit card. I say no because you probably don’t have the right history and score to get a gold card. now you could get a starting card that is the color gold. lol.

Most likely not. You have to apply for a card that doesn’t require any credit history. I came across this site below that lists some of these cards. You won’t get approved for any other credit card especially in this economy. You are better off applying for a starter credit card. Good luck!
