ATA airline, will my credit card refund me the money since they went bankrupt?

so the airline went bankrupt, they arent refunding me the money, i know have to buy from another airline, will my credit card help me out and refund me the money or atleast a portion? my credit card is Chase.

  1. You need to call Chase ASAP. You may want to try the airlines first to see if they are going to rebook you on a different airline, but personally I’d be on the phone with Chase in 5 minutes to put a claim in for your $$. Don’t be the last person looking for funds for an airline that no longer exists.

  2. That’s a good question, and Chase should be able to answer that, but before you call them, just look up your cardholder agreement and see if they gave you coverage for that already.
